Malware Analysis Training made easy
Malwares have been targeting various industries and sectors like financial, petroleum, nuclear facilities, cloud facilities, data centers, public and private organizations and even software companies. Earlier malware analysis was restricted to only antivirus companies. With an increase in quantity and sophistication of malwares and the failure of detection softwares to keep up with this huge influx of malwares, the reliance on SOCs and Forensics Teams to analyze and dissect incoming samples is far more important these days. Malware analysis is a must-have skill to analyze complex malwares and also aid in incident response.
We believe in making malware analysis a simple task that gets rid of unnecessary theory and relies on more real-world practical hands-on. Our training builds the initial concepts related to operating system internals, file formats, all the way upto easy malware analysis using freely available static and dynamic tools that are needed for malware analysis. We focus on making malware analysis extremely easy by correlating not just from static and dynamic analysis, but also explaining how to resort to common sense when everything fails. We have broken down malware into various components and talk about motives of each of these components. This unique technique along with hands-on exercises and labs using real world malware samples, should help analysts identify and categorize malwares more easily. The course also sets the basic foundation for advanced malware analysis topic like malware reverse engineering.
